Common Areas

Timber Lakes has 19 common areas, ranging in size from one to fifty-six acres. The common areas are maintained by the HOA and Property Owners/Volunteers. So far, 11 of the 19 common areas have been developed for owner/guest use.

Common Area Uses:

  • Westview Trail: 1.5 mile hiking trail.
  • Coyote Gulch: tubing, hiking, and mountain biking trails.
  • Clyde Lake: short hiking trail, lake access, picnic area, paddle boarding, and ice-skating/hockey.
  • Aspen Lake: playground/play area, sandbox, nature trails, and picnic/bbq area.
  • Duck Lake: mid-mountain snowmobile trailer parking.
  • Jones Lake: lake access, paddle boarding, swimming, rope swing, picnic area, hiking trails, volleyball/sport-court/soccer, shade tents, and bbq area.
  • Bench Lake: nature trail, picnic area, and animal locator board.
  • Moose Trail: 2.5 mile hiking/snow-shoeing trails, lake creek river access, and fishing.
  • Moose Willows: hiking trails through willows and around beaver ponds.
  • Beaver Springs: non-motorized boat launch, lake exploration, and picnic area/bbq.
  • Hawk Lane Tubing Hill: groomed tubing hill in the winter months.
  • Snowmobile Entrance: winter months only, must have an HOA snowmobile sticker to gain access through the snowmobile gate. Once through the gate, you must stay on the designated groomed trail until you go through the LDS church property, and other private property above that until you reach the start of National Forest. Once you reach the National Forest, you can go off trail to explore millions of acres in the Uinta and Wasatch National Forest.
